A quiet, gentle and peaceful man passed away suddenly at Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital on Wednesday, May 30, 2018 in his 70th year. Alfred is the son of the late John Leslie and Eveline Victoria (Charman). He is survived by his brother Charles (Nancy) of Belleville. Alfred was predeceased by his sisters Dorothy MacDonald, Elizabeth Mayhew and his brother John. Uncle Fred is lovingly remembered by all of his nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place and a graveside memorial service will be held at Zion United Church Cemetery in Hybla. The family thank the wonderful staff and physicians in the ICU and emergency and request that donations be made to The Orillia Soldiers Memorial Hospital Foundation.
